Ever notice that with each birthday it becomes a moment of reflection…your last year…what are you going to do this year?
For me it is always a moment to set higher expectations for myself, to reflect on what I didn’t do the previous year…I’m incredibly hard on myself…
As quick as I am to be hard on myself. I also realize life is meant to be enjoyed, experienced, loved, and something to be grateful for.
Most people are upset for getting a year older…I feel lucky because I am here. Illness, hardship, and difficulties all trivial. Life is a gift…
So here’s to another year older…wiser…much more fun…experiences…life filled with joy! That is all I have for tonight friends…Life and writing are a work in progress…(just like me)😉
