Libraries a world of knowledge at your fingertips…

Last week my local library opened to its full time hours after almost two years of closure. I cannot tell you how amazing it was to walk through those doors again, wander the stacks and check out books again. I feel like a part of my soul has been opened again.

The limitless knowledge in the library is unfathomable. There is so much at your finger tips. This is was a weekly event when I was a kid. I checked out as many books as I could carry. I checked out a lot. I was also the kid that read encyclopedias for fun! Lol 😆

I actually use my library card more then my debt card lol 😆. No joke. My husband rolls his eyes at me. I can honestly say I’ll save a lot more money on books 📚 now that the library is open.

I have been spending my Sundays after work in the library. It has been relaxing, calming, wonderful. I started reading two new series one set in the 1930s, one set in the 1800s. Quite a change of scenery. One is set in Spain, on set in Hollywood California. Both epic so far!

Before I was a writer I was a reader. I still am. I feel it’s research for your stories. Seeing the ins and outs of character development, ups and downs of relationships, all fluid in the pages of a book. You find things you like and things you don’t. I love the process through discovery.

I could spend hours explaining my love for the written word. My love for the four walls that make a library. I just hope you will go and explore yours. Supporting your local libraries is the best. To enjoy the available resources they have.

That is all I have tonight friends. Life and writing is a work in progress…(just like me)😉
