I suppose this started when I was eleven years old and read this book for the first time. It was the first time I had read a story where such strong women were presented. It was amazing. To this day it is still my favorite book!

I have always been drawn to strong women characters. I have never been a fan of damsels in distress. So in this book I was so grateful to see each of the women were strong individually. Yet, unstoppable together. The author based this book on her life. So it must have been fascinating to grow up when she did.

This book really introduced me to a whole new way of reading. In series. Until then I had just read stand alone titles. Now series or continuations is what I primarily read. It is also what I write. It’s comfort to come back to characters again and again. Almost like your visiting. Like they haven’t left.

What a strong statement from Jo, my favorite character in these books. So true. I find myself irritated when fictional titles just present me with weak women, who need love to function. They are nothing without the man. I create strong women that’s stand on there own and the man is just a equal partner. He is not there reason to function.

This quote makes me laugh. I have been married to my husband for 26 years and he has not bored me once… lol

The newest film they just did was wonderful. Each adaptation is. It just makes me love the story more because it transcends for years and years. It is something every author I think aspires too. Have a story that people love forever.

This statement is very true. In every story there is that happy ending, that one true love, it is what we all dream of right.

That is all I have for tonight friends… writing and life are a work in progress…(just like me)😉
