Life is art…so does changing my hair qualify?

I decided this weekend to change my hair completely. Cut, color, the whole shebang… and I let my daughter do it…I trust her… most people tie so many things to looks. There hairstyle, their clothes, what house, the car you drive. These are status quotes not life…life is gray hair, wrinkles, dark circles, lack of sleep, working a job that kicks your ass because you need to provide for your family..,

I am not sure if I’m changing my life per say… I am however changing small things, habits, lifestyle. Changing what matters to me. My life with my writing. My life with almost adult kids.

Let’s face it, when we are busy. Times are chaotic the last thing on most people’s mind is hair. At least for me. Normally I don’t care. I don’t want to spend the money on it. It’s too costly to maintain…I did it this time becayse it seemed fun. My daughter dyes hair as a hobby. I said I’d be her guina pig…( it was also a confidence buster she needed)

I can not control any of the (shit🤬) in my life. So it’s one thing I can change for fun. I am not tied up in worries about it. I don’t care if it’s perfect. I just enjoyed the time with my girl, movies, wine and some hair dye too. I think more things in life should be spontaneous, on a whim, bring a bit of joy when all is chaotic…

So my hope is for people to find their joy in the little things, the big things, whatever… life is too short, sporadic to focus on what wasn’t, what cannot be… so instead… if you don’t like the dye job dye it again. If you don’t like the haircut it will grow… no big!

That is all I have tonight friends… life and writing are a work in progress…(just like me)😉
