This quote pretty much sums up my writing life. I am reading constantly, writing consistently, and editing every week. It’s a process that’s tedious and so rewarding.

It’s a whole gamut of emotions everyday, every week, when each chapter is done. It’s a breath, then fear, then how can this be better. It is a constant circle.

It is an incredible thing to experience emotions through your own words. It is hard to describe. Just as having a child an holding them for the first time. It’s a whole new level of joy. A whole new type of love.

I really believe that making a character real is not how beautiful your prose is, how precise it is, or how grammatically correct it is. I believe it is when you strike that cord with your reader, when they feel what your character feels. That is the moment that makes them real. When as a reader you see them as such!

I use a lot of humor in my writing, a lot of sarcasm , it’s my personality through and through. Yet, it’s a universe of its own. Crazy but true. I had a dream the other night I was walking through the fictional town I created with my title character. In that dream it was vivid, clear, real… amazing.

Blood, sweat, and tears. A fraction of your soul in everything you write. It’s all encompassing

Even with all the stress, the tears, the blood, it’s worth every word my friends. It’s a true test of endurance, love an commitment. I feel like I’m convincing you all to write? Maybe I am. With all the chaos in the world it’s an escape, it’s joy, fun, laughter. That’s what I’m encouraging. Find what you love an don’t put it off. Find a new hobby. A new love. Whatever makes you happy. Bring others joy as well as yourself.

So friends write your own brave new ending…that’s all I have tonight friends… Writing and life are a work in progress…(just like me)😉
