I always reach a point in my second act…that I fear I don’t have any idea what I’m doing. Or at least I worry I don’t…

I reach the midpoint. Act two is my nemesis…I am trying to make all the things happen that I promised in the first act, deal with relationships, conflicts, plot twists, making it all work. Here is were the stress becomes real.

It’s a crazy experience writing a book. Like video games, life, and work we go through the motions and tremendous emotional ups and downs…then we pause, breath and reevaluate our story. We know how to get from point A to point D… our confidence just wavered a bit.

I spent a little time brainstorming with my son. He’s wonderful, he listens, he suggests and with his thoughts I figured it out. Eureka! Writers block gone.

So I guess the moral to the story friends is keep trying. Look at other ways. Think outside the box. Writers block is only there because we are not opening our minds to unusual possibilities, searches on internet, or go for a walk. Inspiration is everywhere. We just have to look!

That is all I have tonight friends. Writing and life are a work in progress…(just like me)😉
