Normally taco Tuesday is my favorite day of the week. Today it has been very scary. My family is caught directly in the path of the southern Oregon wildfires. At one point today I did not know if they were ok…

Thankfully my family is so far ok. I am relieved. They are not out of the woods yet, high temps, huge winds are still scary close… it just makes me reevaluate an be grateful for what blessings I have.

Scary stuff aside. A huge blessing is a roof over our head, tacos in our belly, power so air can circulate. One of the many things I am thankful for when all the traumatic events happening right now in our towns, our states, our world.

I have literally fallen apart so many times today. We have picked up the pieces and we are trudging forward. Friends hug your families tight tonight. Count your blessings. Be grateful for the things lots of people do not have right now. Call loved ones just to say hi. Zoom them. Whatever. Don’t wait until you cannot say those things you hold in your heart every day. I have cried and told my family how much I love them today. That is all I have tonight friends. Be safe.

Life…like writing is always a work in progress…😉
