One of my most favorite things in the spring and summer is the flowers and the different white wines. I am also ok with a rose’…Sauvignon Blanc is my fave white, followed by Chardonnay. White flower either lily of the valley or white roses.
I know spring is over and summer is upon us. So this is a little late. White flowers and white wine are a year round thing so I think I’m ok…lol.
Spring was rough for us we had a death in the family and my stepdad had a stroke all within the same month of my sister’s birthday and our dad’s passing. Making everything unbearable and full of grief. I apologize for the lack of posts. It’s just been a lot. It is hard to think creatively when bad and sad surrounds us.
Weather has gone from rain to high heat. There is no middle ground from spring to summer here in the northwest. Just fast moving seasons and no time to catch up. I personally prefer being outdoors, morning, noon and night if possible.
Father’s Day is next week. It is still hard for me. Dad is in heaven now. How can one celebrate life? Yet, I know he’s looking down and hoping we do enjoy each other’s company and many find memories. Many beautiful sunsets ahead for reflection and enjoyment.
So, I’m hoping to step into this Father’s Day with new hope, optimism, and pleasure in the small things. Happiness in the gathering. Strength with family to get through tough holidays. Wishing you all a very happy Father’s Day…that’s all I have today friends…life and writing are a work in progress…(just like me)😉
