Who are your favorite artists?

I have always loved watercolors and impressionistic paintings. So when asked who is my favorite painter it was a no brainer for me.

His paintings are so beautiful and peaceful. I literally want to jump in them like Mary Poppins. It gives me joy to look at them. One of the coolest things I learned about him was his obsession with light, its effects on scenery. You can see that visibly in his work.

Another cool fact I learned. He bout a flat boat just to go out on the water to paint it, in its different colors, different times of day, light and its effect in water etc.

That’s all I have for today friends. I hope you read more about Mr Monet after this post. He was such an interesting, intelligent person. Who became what we know as the impressionist movement. Life is an and writing is a work in progress…(just like me)😉
